You Already Have the Funding. Here’s the Step Most Families Miss.

School started on the sixth. If you are somewhere around week two right now, you may be recognizing the shape of this: the first call home, the first morning nobody could get out the door, the first “he was completely fine in July.”

That timing is not a coincidence. Two or three weeks in is when the gap between what a school year demands and what actually works for your student stops being theoretical.

So here is a piece of practical news, and it is the useful kind.

NeuroNavigate can now be paid directly from your scholarship

NeuroNavigate is an approved Step Up For Students provider under Specialized Services (ABA), Level 1. If your student has a Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities, those funds can go toward behavior-analytic services here.

Level 1 is the credential tier for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst practicing independently. In plain terms: the person who does the assessment is the person who builds the plan and sits with you while you learn to run it. Not a technician working from someone else’s instructions.

No insurance. No waitlist. No agency intake.

The funding was already yours. What changed is that it can now come here.

The step that stops most families

This is the part worth writing down, because it is where interested families quietly stall out.

Once you and I have agreed on scope, you need to reserve funds to NeuroNavigate inside your EMA account. Not just find the provider. Not just express interest. Reserve.

That single action is what allows invoices to be submitted and paid directly, without you approving each one individually. Families who skip it end up in a slow loop of back-and-forth that has nothing to do with whether the services were a good fit.

It takes about two minutes, and I will walk you through it. Nobody should lose access to support because of a portal step.

What scholarship funds cover here, and what they do not

Scholarship funds can only pay for services in the area a provider is approved in. For NeuroNavigate, that means behavior-analytic services: consultation and strategy, family and caregiver sessions, and transition consulting.

Workshops, courses, classroom resources, and professional trainings are educational rather than clinical. They are open to anyone, anywhere, and I would love you to have them. They are simply not billable to your scholarship, and I am not going to tell you otherwise.

If you are somewhere in week two

You do not need to have this figured out before you reach out. A first conversation is free, it costs you nothing but the time, and I will tell you honestly if this is not the right fit for your student.

The full details, including what a typical engagement looks like and what it costs, are here: Scholarship Funding

There is no single right path. There is only your path, and this year, a bit more of it is already paid for.
